About the Role:
Are you a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) looking to make a positive impact in a school setting? Were seeking an enthusiastic COTA to join our team in Springfield, MA! In this role, youll work closely with students to support their occupational therapy goals, helping them thrive academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing individualized therapy plans for students.
- Provide direct therapy services to students to support their development of fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
- Monitor and document student progress, making adjustments to therapy activities as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom environment.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with school and state regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of student therapy plans.
Requirements:
- Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) certification.
- Licensed to practice in Massachusetts.
- Experience working with children or in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
